What is Coffee Week?

Coffee week is a passport program designed to encourage support of all coffee shops and loaded tea establishments in North Platte and Lincoln County, NE. Hosted by Visit North Platte, this event will highlight the local caffeine culture while driving traffic to participating businesses.

How to Participate

Pick up 2026 Coffee Week Passport.
- Passports can be found at Visit North Platte or any participating business.
Visit 7 different participating businesses between February 8-14, 2026.
Purchase a drink.
Get your stamp/punch/initial at each location.
Turn in your completed passport for prizes or entries to Visit North Platte.
- Must be to the Visit North Platte office by 5:00pm on February 20, 2026, to be entered to win. 101 Halligan Drive, North Platte.

Extra Entries (Optional):

For each additional location visited (with beverage purchase) during Coffee Week you will get one extra entry into the prize drawing.
One extra prize entry can also be earned for each social media post during Coffee Week that tags Visit North Platte AND uses the hashtag #VNPCoffeeWeek2026.
- Facebook, X, and Instagram only.
- Limit one per social site per location.

Due Date, Prizes, and Pick Up Instructions

Completed Passports are due to the Visit North Platte office by 5:00pm on Friday, February 20^th, 2026.

Prize drawing will take place on Monday, February 23^rd.

Grand Prize is valued at approximately $120 with a $10 gift card from each participating location and some Visit North Platte swag.
12 additional prizes will be drawn, each valued at $10. Participants are eligible to win more than one prize.

Prize must be picked up at the Visit North Platte office, 101 Halligan Drive, by 5:00pm on Wednesday, February 25^th. We will draw for additional winners for any prizes not picked up. Each additional winner will have 24 hours (business days) to claim their prize before another winner is drawn.

Do I have to buy something to get a stamp?
- Yes. A beverage purchase at each location is required to get your passport stamped.
Can kids participate?
- Any age can participate, but a purchase is required for each passport holder.
Do I have to complete the passport in order?
- No, the order doesn’t matter.
What if a shop is closed when I go?
- A beverage purchase is required to get a stamp so you must go during business hours.
Can I participate if I’m from out of town?
- Absolutely! If your name is drawn Visit North Platte will contact you to get the prize(s) mailed to you.
Is there a cost to participate?
- No cost to participate, just the purchase required at each of the 7 locations.
