Feather River Vineyard

Feather River Vineyard gets Buffalo Bill’s Buffalo of Approval for its quiet atmosphere, great wine, and beautiful scenery. Located in the hills of the Southern Platte Valley, just south of North Platte, Feather River has been offering a variety of wines that reflect the character and history of the area’s geologic heritage since 2007. River and windblown sediment have created the mineral-rich soil of the region that nurtures vines that produce grapes of a distinctive quality. Feather River is one of Nebraska's largest vineyards and planted their first vines in 2001. The 37 acre vineyard includes a bevy of grape varieties including Edelwiess, Seyval, Reisling, LaCrosse, St Pipen, Marechal Foch, Frontanec, St. Croix, and Marguette. The Feather River Winery includes a tasting room with a veranda, production area, and lab. It is open for private parties and group tours. Tents are available for parties at the vineyard or in the midst of the grape vines. All of that is enough to make even Buffalo Bill feel classy and sophisticated, so it’s no wonder that Feather River Vineyards gets Buffalo Bill’s Buffalo of Approval.

The tasting room is open for sampling and to purchase wine and gifts. The vineyard is available for special events. Feather River is open for tastings, private parties and group tours.
