| 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM Central Nebraska Public Power and Irrigation District will open the Eagle Viewing Facility near Johnson Lake south of Lexington on Saturday Dec. 26 and will be open each weekend through early February. ***The hydroplant is located south of Lexington near the intersection of county roads 749 and 750. ***Visitors are encouraged to bring their own viewing equipment ***The best viewing time is normally earlier in the day. There is no charge to visit the facility ***The facility at Kingsley Dam on Lake McConaughy will be closed this year. ***For more information visit www.cnppid.com. |
