About North Platte Convention and Visitors Bureau


The North Platte/Lincoln County Convention and Visitors Bureau works to raise awareness of the North Platte area as the gateway to the Wild West. Our Western hospitality is our best attribute. The North Platte CVB markets our community with a mission to develop tourism thru conferences, conventions, and events that fill hotel rooms and increase the North Platte area economic base. 

Our staff can help you plan you family vacation, family reunion, business convention, or special event. Local and state maps, attractions, restaurants and parks are included in the vast array of information available in the Visitors Bureau. 

Our main office is located at 219 South Dewey, North Platte, NE

Business Hours: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday thru Friday.

The Visitors Center Caboose is located at Iron Horse Park South of I-80. Hours are Memorial day weekend thru October 15th, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, 7 days a week.

The North Platte Convention & Visitors Bureau offers grants to local events and attractions through its PROMOTION FUND. The funds available through this program are provided from the lodging tax revenue fund and are to be used for the sole purpose of promoting, encouraging and attracting visitors to and within Lincoln County Nebraska. The completed grant application must be submitted to the CVB office 10 days before the monthly Advisory Board meeting. For a copy of the grant application, click here.
