North Platte, Nebraska, population 23,800, is centrally located on Interstate 80, America's Transcontinental Interstate Highway. "Center of the State, center of the nation, the place everything that's good happens."

Major overland routes provide connections to other Nebraska  and regional attractions including Omaha, Ft. Robinson, Black Hills, S.D., Yellowstone National Park, and Denver, CO., just to name a few. Great Lakes Airlines serves the North Platte Regional Airport with daily flights from Denver.

Facilities include about thirty motels with nearly 1500 rooms and many include group dining facilities and group rates. Unique bed and breakfast accommodations are also available, as well as numerous camping facilities in North Platte and the area.
